An East Lothian cafe have announced they will be shutting their doors for good after nearly a decade in the business.
Cadell's Café at Cockenzie House had been a popular and coffee and lunch spot for some time, with hundreds flocking to the aesthetic attraction and gardens.
However, nine years after the eatery opened in the area, staff informed loyal customers on social media that they will no longer be operating there.

Thanking the community for their support during the pandemic, the team said it was the "right time" for them to close up shop at the venue.
Speaking on social media, Cadells said: "We are sad to tell you that we will no longer be operating Cadells Café at Cockenzie House and Gardens and that the café is now closed.
"We would like to thank every single one of you who have supported us over the last nine years! Thank you for every cup of coffee and slice of cake you purchased, for your regular visits to the café to see us and indeed a heartfelt thank you for your continued support during the most difficult of times.

"We have so many great years at Cadells and we’ve made some amazing memories and as customers of the café your support means the world to us.
"We have loved our time at Cadells however due to present circumstances the time is right for us to depart from. Keep your eyes peeled for what we have planned for the very near future!
