A gorgeous Edinburgh pooch is searching for a new forever family after the EDCH launched an appeal to see him rehomed.
Boasting one of the biggest smiles in the shelter, Leo is one of the many dogs cared for by the charity as they work with locals to find him the right new environment.
Estimated to be around two years and three months old, the Cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier is searching for an "active" and "experienced" owner who can take good care of him.

Full of energy and love, Leo is also looking to be the only pet in the home, ideally with a family that has children upwards of the age of five.
Sharing some adorable snaps of the pooch, staff at the EDCH said: "Leo is looking for an active experienced owner and would suit living with young children aged five upwards. He will need a secure garden and although he loves to meet his doggy friends would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

"Leo is a lovely energetic boy who can be excitable at times and will need an owner willing to carry on with his training. Going to training classes would really benefit him and help to keep him socialised. He is a lovely confident boy who adores people but doesn’t quite understand how big he is. Being such a loving lad, he would ideally like company for most of the day but could be left for a short time with a tasty filled kong to keep him occupied."
You can find more information on rehoming Leo on the EDCH website here.
