An adorable dog who uses a pink wheelchair to get around is searching for her forever home.
Poor Nessy has been overlooked by all potential owners at Miracle’s Mission, in Carlisle, despite being a '"very friendly" dog.
She has become their longest-staying resident after spending 10 months in their care - and there has been “very little interest” shown in her in all that time.
Although not much is known about Nessy’s life before arriving at Miracle’s Mission, it is thought she was hit by a car in Romania, paralysing both of her back legs.
Victoria Bryceson, who set up Miracle’s Mission in 2015, said: “They were so badly injured that they were both amputated - but this doesn't stop her doing everything a dog with four legs does.

“She doesn't even realise that she is disabled and she races around playing like crazy both in and out of her wheels. She uses her wheels for walks.”
The two-year-old dog is currently in foster care in Devon - but can be rehomed anywhere in the UK.
“We are trying to find her a home but she has had very little interest which is a real shame as she is such a sweet amazing girl,” said Victoria.
“Nessy weighs 21 kilos and she is incontinent which is why we think she has had little interest as a lot of people don't realise how easy it is to manage with an incontinent dog through use of bladder expression and nappies.”
Nessy has been described as a “really happy” dog who thinks life is one big adventure.
She needs to be rehomed to a family with at least one other dog who she can walk with and ideally a playful cat. She can live with children.
Victoria added: “She loves making new friends and loves cuddles and toys. She likes to be close to people as she forms lovely bonds with people. She also really loves both dogs and cats.”
Miracle’s Mission is a UK registered animal welfare charity who work predominantly in the UK, Borneo and Egypt.
A statement reads: “Our mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the needs of neutering both pets and strays and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more animals onto the streets.
"We also rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need, often with disabilities, from our UK rescue base.”
