A pair of 'affectionate' pups are looking for their forever home in Edinburgh, with an understanding owner who can help them gain confidence.
Pickle and Pepe, Chihuahua cross Jack Russel terriers, are looking for an adults-only home in a quiet area. Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, who are currently looking after the pups, say they're both 'excitable and confident'.
Pepe enjoys a 'fuss and a cuddle', while his younger sister can be shy at first. They need to be the only animals in the house to feel comfortable.

Advertising the cute canines, Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home said: "They need to be the only animals in their new home and would like access into a secure and private garden. Ideally their new owner would have had experience with smaller breeds who have large personalities, and be prepared to invest in a one-to-one dog trainer if necessary.
"Pepe is a nervous boy who takes a while to feel comfortable with new people and new situations. This can’t be rushed so their new owner will need to visit a few times to build his trust.
Once you’ve won him over, he’s an affectionate little boy who enjoys a fuss and a cuddle. He relies heavily on his little sister Pickle for support when he is feeling worried.
"Pickle can be shy at first but once she comes out of her shell, she is confident and affectionate. She can be excitable, and both dogs can be vocal at times especially when they see people and dogs when they’re on a walk.
"They would love to find an understanding owner who can help them gain confidence, while working on their socialisation skills.
"Pepe has been treated for medical issues while staying with us which may require further treatment in the future, this will be discussed in more detail with any matching applicants."
