Adobe’s next boss joins a powerful club: Meet the Indian-origin CEOs running the world’s biggest companies

Adobe Anil Chakravarthy Google India Microsoft Chanel FedEx Kunal Shah Micron Artificial Intelligence

From software and search to chips, shipping and luxury goods, Indian-origin executives are leading some of the world’s biggest companies.

The latest name to join this group is Anil Chakravarthy, who will become Adobe’s president and CEO on December 1, 2026. He will succeed Shantanu Narayen, who will move to the role of executive chair after leading Adobe for nearly two decades.
