NEW DELHI: Pacer Aditya Thakare's fiery four-wicket spell left Tamil Nadu struggling at 159 for six by the end of the second day in their Ranji Trophy quarterfinal against Vidarbha in Nagpur on Sunday.
Despite boasting a deep batting lineup, Tamil Nadu’s top order failed to apply themselves on a challenging surface. The lone bright spot was 18-year-old C Andre Siddharth, nephew of former Tamil Nadu batter Sridharan Sharath, who played a fighting knock of 65 off 89 balls (10x4, 2x6).
