Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray clashed with work and pension secretary Thérèse Coffey on Friday's show as they discussed rising energy bills.
The 48-year-old TV presenter and his co-host Charlotte Hawkins welcomed the MP onto the ITV show and attempted to grill her on what the government are doing to help the most vulnerable.
Charlotte began the segment by saying: "Experts are warning that energy bills could hit £5,000 next April but no new plans to help ease the cost of living crisis have been announced," before inviting Ms Coffey into the conversation.
