Adele's vanishing act as she leaves fans speechless with Las Vegas stage trick

Adele left fans speechless as she disappeared from the stage during her long-awaited residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The 34-year-old singer amazed ticket-holders in the final moments of her show as she completely vanished under a down-pouring of pink confetti.

Adele had been singing the final song of the night, Love Is A Game, when the special trick happened. As she sang the last few notes, fans began cheering as a bunch of glittery confetti rained down from the ceiling.

When the confetti cleared, Adele was gone.

A video capturing the magical moment has taken social media by storm, with fans saying they hadn't slept while trying to figure out how she left the show.

The person filming the clip could be heard saying: "What the f**k!"

"I'm blowing my brains, I don't sleep in days trying to figure it out," one person tweeted. Another said: "I was all cheering loud and jumping and then I was a full stop and said 'WHAT, how, where!!!! Ahhhh so COOL!!!!!'"

"Magic?!" a third asked, while someone else added: "This is absolutely insane!! How did she pull this off!!"

Adele's hugely anticipated Las Vegas residency got underway on Friday night, with the singer apologising to her adoring crowd for having to delay the initial run of concerts earlier in the year.

Adele admitted she was "sh***ing herself" during the residency opener after a 10-month wait.

She told the audience: "It is really mad to be from Tottenham and be in f***ing Las Vegas," before opening up on how she felt after cancelling in the first place.

She added: "It is the worst feeling I have ever had, but the best decision I have ever made when it comes to my career. And I do stand by it all.

"I am truly sorry for any inconvenience I caused."

Adele cancelled her original residency back in January as she said that many of the people on her team had contracted Covid-19, slowing down preparations.
