Adele has revealed she is going on self-imposed vocal rest after her famous singing voice came under threat due to illness.

The Someone Like You hit-maker, 35, explained to the audience of her packed out Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday that she had concerns about hitting notes over a chest issue.She jokingly compared herself to deep voiced Disney villain Ursula the Sea Witch and apologised profusely to the crowd who she clearly didn’t want to let down despite feeling under the weather.
