Adele fans go wild as savage unreleased track about past lover leaked online

Adele fans have called for the singer to release a full version of a previously unheard track that leaked online over the weekend.

In the snippet shared to social media, the award-winning artist, 34, seemingly throws shade on a former lover - with brutal lyrics including the line: "I didn't really want to be your lover, I was just bored and you were the first one I set my eyes on."

The track, titled as But I Want To online, is believed to have been created for her fourth album 30 but failed to make the final cut when the record was released last year.

Thanks to the tune being leaked online, fans have begged the singer to release the full version - with some even suggesting the star puts together an album of unreleased tracks.

In the unauthorised snippet shared to Twitter over the weekend, the mum-of-one can be heard singing: "Perhaps I was too young to be playing with fire. Like a loaded gun you held me up on your desire.

"Had to learn how to run, had to learn how to walk away."

The chorus then features the lyrics: "I hate that I love you, the worst part is I never wanted to. It kills me that I can't be around you, but I want to.

"Gonna lose my heart, gonna lose my mind in your eyes."

"this is perfection, honestly PERFECTION! i love love love this song," a third wrote, while another demanded: "OMG!!!! ADELE RELEASE THIS NOW."

The Mirror has contacted a representative for Adele for comment.

Adele's fourth studio album, 30, shared details of her split from ex-husband Simon Konecki, with whom she shares 10-year-old son Angelo with.

The former couple announced their split in April 2019 and their divorce was finalised the following year.

Since splitting from Simon, Adele has been seeing American dating sports agent Rich Paul - with the pair reportedly keen to welcome children into the world t ogether soon.

During her recent appearance on Desert Island Discs, Adele spoke of her desire to welcome a brother or sister for Angelo.

She said: "I definitely would like a couple more kids. It would be wonderful if we can. If not, I have got Angelo. I just want to be happy."
