Adele fans fear Vegas show will never run as she's replaced and set dismantled

Adele fans fear she will never reschedule her cancelled Las Vegas shows now the set is currently being dismantled.

The Hello singer took to Instagram to tearfully tell her fans her residency had been postponed as she admitted the show 'just isn't ready'.

The decision was announced just 24 hours before she was due to hit the stage, leaving fans travelling into Sin City furious.

However, it seems now that Adele has been replaced by Country musician Keith Urban, her whole stage has been removed from Caesars Palace.

Keith is set to take over Adele's original slot until April, and Rod Stewart and Sting are scheduled to perform for the rest of the year, meaning there is no room for Adele.

Photos have been posted to Instagram of the sound systems and lighting being removed from the stage at the hotel, while they're changing it for future performers.

A technician took to social media to share imaged to show the set being dismantled.

It's thought there was due to be a pool prop included in the original shows, but this is where some of the arguments fell, which ultimately ended in the cancellation of the performances.

The Sun reported that the first plan was for Adele to be lifted up in a pool during one part of the show, but she wasn't too happy about it.

The source said: "Adele described the pool as a 'baggy old pond' and refused, point blank, to stand in the middle of it.

"The intention was to fill it with water on the set as she was lifted up on a crane-type mechanism, creating the illusion she was floating on water."

The pool has been seen being packed up from the hotel, ready for new singers to take Adele's place.

However, fans are now worried that the singer won't be able to reschedule her performances, similarly to her two cancelled Wembley gigs back in 2017 which are still yet to be rearranged after she damaged vocal cords.

Adele is due to make her first public appearance since the controversial cancelling of shows at the Brit Awards next month, however she won't be flying to the UK for the event.

She will appear via video link on February 8th where she will go up against Ed Sheeran to win the biggest awards of the night, Best Album and Best Artist.

Earlier this month, Adele took to her Instagram to post a video explaining that she couldn't perform in Las Vegas.

She broke down in tears as she said: "We’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.

"We’ve been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time. I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and I’m so sorry to everyone that’s travelled."

Some fans due to watch the star had already travelled to Vegas as well as paying for hotels ahead of the shows.
