Adelaide United have introduced a new star to the A-League Men competition, with 19-year-old striker Brody Burkitt scoring a second-half hat-trick to secure a memorable 3-2 win over Brisbane Roar.

His third goal in the second minute of stoppage time, a looping header from a Juan Muniz cross, stunned the 9651 fans at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.
