NEW DELHI: Adani Wilmar became the 7th companies within Adani group to cross Rs 1 lakh crore market capitalisation mark.
With this, all 7 Adani Group companies now have a market capitalisation of over Rs 1 lakh crore.
On the BSE, the share closed at its all time high of Rs 802.8 after it surged 5 per cent during the day.
Similarly, on the NSE, it finished 4.99 per cent higher at Rs 803.15.
At close of trade on Tuesday, the market capitalisation of Adani Wilmar stood at Rs 1.04 lakh crore.
Valuation of other group companies stood are as follows: Adani Green Energy at Rs 4.62 lakh crore, Adani Transmission at Rs 3.11 lakh crore, Adani Total Gas at Rs 2.82 lakh crore, Adani Enterprises at Rs 2.63 lakh crore, Adani Ports at Rs 1.92 lakh crore, Adani Power at Rs 1.10 lakh crore.
In fact, shares of each Adani Group companies surged at least 5 per cent on Tuesday. Adani Transmission was the biggest gainer surging 8.5 per cent to close at Rs 2828.45.
Shares surged today on expectations that Indonesia's ban on palm oil exports may raise margins for oil producers in India.
Adani Wilmar is a leading producer of edible oils in India, including soyabean oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, rice bran oil, mustard oil, groundnut oil, cottonseed oil, blended oil, vanaspati and specialty fats.
It is a 50:50 joint venture company between Gautam Adani-led conglomerate Adani Group and Singapore's Wilmar Group.
Among all Adani Group companies, this is the latest company to be listed on the bourses. The share made its market debut on February 8.
Since then, the share has jumped by a whopping 202.71 per cent in two and half months time.
The IPO was subscribed more than 17 times, had made a muted debut in the exchanges with a discount of little over 1 per cent from its issue price of Rs 230.
If we compare stock prices since its issue, the share has jumped nearly 250 per cent.
In fact, shares of Adani Group companies have shown stellar performance in the past 2 years.
The Group's dream run has been riding majorly on green energy wave as Adani Green Energy's shares soared over 1,600 per cent since January 2020.
Shares of Adani Total Gas jumped by a whopping 1,200 per cent, while that of Adani Enterprises soared by 1,196 per cent.
The trend continued in 2022 as well. Since the beginning of this year, Adani Power has given over 160 per cent gains to the shareholders, while Adani Green Energy surged 110 per cent.
On Monday, Adani Power had become the 6th Adani Group company to cross Rs 1 lakh crore market capitalisation.
This helped Gautam Adani in adding the most wealth in 2021, about $49 billion, at the rate of Rs 6,000 crore per weak, a report by the latest Hurun rich list showed. In absolute terms, he became the world's biggest wealth gainer -- higher than the worlds two richest persons, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.
