Adam Idah admits 'tricky situation' over possible permanent Celtic transfer

Adam Idah has admitted he is unsure whether he has played his final match for Celtic.

The on-loan Norwich striker scored the winner for Brendan Rodgers' side at Hampden to win the Scottish Cup.

Idah started on the bench but made a telling contribution on the final appearance of his loan spell in Scotland as he secured a league and cup double for Celtic.

The striker joined Celtic on loan for the second half of the season but speculation over a possible permanent move has been rife.

It's claimed a £5m transfer fee could see Idah join Celtic full-time but the forward has admitted he is in the dark over his future.

The Republic of Ireland international is set to return to Norwich in the summer upon the conclusion of his loan agreement but refused to rule out a transfer return to Glasgow.

On Premier Sports, Idah said: "I don't know. I am still contracted with Norwich.

"Football is a tricky situation, I will go back in the summer have my time off and who knows what is going to happen."

Asked if he wanted to return to Celtic, he added: It's a great club, I love the club, I have always supported the club. Who knows."
