Adam Collard teases third Love Island stint - but admits he has some major concerns

Love Island veteran Adam Collard wouldn't rule out a third stint in the villa, but has explained his reservations over a return.

Fitness guru Adam, 26, caused major drama on the show in 2018 and went on to have a relationship with co-star Zara McDermott, with the pair breaking up after eight months.

He made a villa comeback in the summer, with less lothario antics on show. Adam coupled up with Paige Thorne, but the pair split soon after leaving the show, with Adam denying he kissed someone else while they were together.

Adam's surprise return has sparked speculation more islanders could enter the villa once more looking for love, and this season includes stars from the Australian version, Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters.

Speaking to the Mirror, Adam questioned whether the villa was the right place for him to find a lasting relationship.

Asked whether he would go in for a third time, Adam said: "Ah I don't know, yes, maybe. I am in the perfect situation, everything in life is good, and I just haven't found someone.

"But I don't know because I have been in before whether it's capable for me to find someone now."

"I have got to be honest, I genuinely did at one point think Paige was the one but when you come out it's different and it's even worse when you have been in twice.

"Anyone can fall in love when you're in the sun 16 hours a day. It all changes when someone has five businesses and they come out and they're working 16 hour days."

Whether or not he will go in Love Island again, Adam says he's a big fan of the show and has defended the producers, who often get accused by former stars of manipulating situations.

Speaking at the opening of Choppaluna's new restaurant in High Holburn, London, Adam said: "I love Love Island. It's the best show in the world. I think the producers are the most intelligent people in the world.

"I think they are the most ruthless but also the nicest people in the world. As much as I have seen them crush people, they aren't really crushing people, all they are doing is enhancing personalities."

Adam's first Love Island stint is remembered for how he split up Kendall and Niall on Love Island, and ditched Rosie for Zara, with fans fuming over his treatment of Rosie.

Adam, speaking about how the producers worked with him, said: "I was a d**k at 21 and they amplified the fact I was a d**k because I had came out of a relationship after two years and they knew they had hit the jackpot, that I wanted to go 'girl, girl, girl'.

"Now why did Adam at 26 look different? Because I wasn't in the same boat. So if you are like that they will enhance it, but they're not doing anything wrong."
