MADIKERI/ MYSURU/MANGALURU: Broken roads, damaged houses, flooded fields, destroyed crops, overflowing rivers and gloomy faces greeted CM Basavaraj Bommai when he visited the areas affected by heavy rain in Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada districts on Tuesday.
After visiting some areas in Madikeri and meeting officials and leaders, he told reporters that a team of experts will soon conduct a study to determine the cause of repeated seismic activities in Madikeri and Sullia (Dakshina Kannada district) and find a permanent solution to the problem. "The team will visit the district soon and submit a report to the state government," he added.
