Action needed to make local parks safer for women say Fingal County councillors

Fingal County councillors feel that action is needed to make public spaces safer for women in the area.

More lighting and CCTV were some of the measures put forward by councillors, who all agreed that societal change needs to happen on a local and national level.

Many stressed that input from local women that use the facilities is extremely important to make the changes fit for purpose.
