Court documents about the alleged murder of Glenn Walewicz at Philip last year have revealed allegations the teenager accused of shooting him wrote rap lyrics about it, saving them on his phone.
Five people are facing charges over the death, including the 18-year-old accused of shooting him and Gary Taylor, 24, who pleaded guilty to his part in the murder last week.
Prosecutors told the court today Mr Walewicz was not the intended target of the group, but was shot in a case of mistaken identity.
The information came to light during a bail application by Nicole Williams, 38, who is charged with being an accessory after the fact and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
Prosecutor Anthony Williamson also added new charges today, including recruiting two juveniles to take part in a crime.
Mr Williamson told the court Ms Williams was the architect of the plan for a violent home invasion.
"It was orchestrated by her," Mr Williamson said.
He said the co-accused were to obtain money and drugs from the home of two people the police say were known drug dealers, to satisfy a drug debt to Ms Williams.
"Mr Walewicz was a completely innocent party who had nothing to do with the drug trade," Mr Williamson said.
Mr Williamson told the court Ms Williams was eventually arrested at the Kingston train station, where she had a one way ticket interstate.
Ms Williams interrupted the court, saying she was only going to see her grandson.
Her lawyer Darryl Perkins told the court there was no evidence Ms Williams had organised for the harm to be done.
Mr Perkins told the court the others have made up a story to shift the blame.
"We say my client was not involved in this exercise." He said.
But Magistrate Margaret Hunter said there was cogent evidence that it was a strong prosecution case.
"Unfortunately it appears the wrong person was murdered," Magistrate Hunter said.
The bail application was refused, and Ms Williams remains behind bars.

Chilling details have now been revealed about how the incident unfolded.
In court documents police allege that when the group went to Philip in June last year, they knocked on the doors of at least two other units in the area looking for their target, and were told it was 'the door that says 'one' on it.'
Police say the group then went to Mr Walewicz's unit and when he opened the door the 18-year-old shot him in the neck.
He died shortly afterwards.
Police say the incident was captured on CCTV as the group fled to the waiting car and left the area.
Rap lyrics were found on the 18-year-old's phone, police allege, include slang terms like 'dot' and 'stick' which police say refer to a firearm and 'hit a lick' which they say means to make a lot of money in a short time.
"What's popping just put your mans in a coffin," the lyrics said.
"They told me to hit that lick instead it was a hit n pop … I schemed and leaned and dropped some blood."
It's also been revealed the gun, which police say was recovered from under the bed during a search of Gary Taylor's home, had been stolen in a burglary in Orange.
It took police a year to make the first arrest, after a painstaking investigation.
The evidence includes telephone intercepts, cross references with telephone towers, and CCTV footage, which allegedly shows the car the group used to go to and from the alleged murder, travelling nearby at the relevant time.
A boy who was 12 at the time of the offences was originally charged over his role, but that was later dropped by prosecutors.
Police allege the boy had been visiting Ms Williams' house and was told to get into the car with the others.
They say the boy told them Ms Williams had put a glass pipe in his mouth and told him to smoke it.
The boy told police it make him feel awake, and he couldn't think straight.
Police allege it was methamphetamine.
