Another major day of demonstrations took place across France on Tuesday, with students and trade unions taking to the streets to protest education conditions and funding as the National Assembly began its debate on the government's budget proposals for 2027.
Teaching unions told Euronews that they were dissatisfied with the government's response to concerns over long school days, overcrowded classrooms, run down facilities, and teacher absences.
