If you thought 4 Aces was just the name of Dustin Johnson’s juggernaut of a team in LIV Golf, you’d be wrong. There were four aces this week at the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba, too.
The last time there were four holes-in-one in a single PGA Tour event? That would be at the 2019 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba. What is it about the par-3s at El Camaleon Golf Club in Riviera Maya, Mexico, that serves up aces and opens the bars?
Here’s a quick review of the four aces south of the border, which meant cervezas for everybody.
Brian Harman
No. 4, 113 yards
Harman was stuck in neutral on Friday, even through 12 holes, when he made his third hole-in-one on the PGA Tour.
“Watched both the guys in front of me hit pitching wedge and I figured I could hood a 50-degree and get it there,” he said. “It hit and we got to watch it spin right back. That was my first since I got two in one day.”
That was in the final round of the 2015 Barclays. Did it pop into his mind when he got to the par-3 eighth?
“I didn’t even think about it,” he said. “The funny thing is when I made the first one my caddie ‘Country’ said, ‘Well, they come in bunches’ and eight holes later I dunked another one.”
Harman celebrated the ace by reeling off three straight birdies on his way to posting 66.

Seamus Power
No. 8, 138 yards
One week after winning the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, Seamus Power kept the good vibes going. His third-round 63 on Saturday included an ace, but that wasn’t his only hole out. He made an eagle on the par-4 11th with a hole out from 111 yards and also holed a greenside bunker shot for birdie at the 14th hole.

Greyson Sigg
No. 10, 200 yards
As Riley Hamel noted here, Sigg had no idea he had made an ace at the 10th hole on Saturday. Part of the reason was because no one by the green reacted. Tough crowd!
It was the 19th ace (now 20) in tournament history and the fifth at No. 10.

Robert Streb
No. 8, 138 yards
Streb Nation can rejoice. It’s long-suffering wait is over as Robert Streb made his first ace on the PGA Tour in his 805th career round.
It was the highlight of a day when Streb only made one birdie and one bogey and a whole bunch of pars en route to shooting 2-under 69 and finishing T-42.
