A man accused of carjacking a woman while armed with a samurai sword has been refused bail, with a judge noting he once breached a domestic violence order by calling a victim from jail 800 times.

Jaylan Doolan, 21, was refused bail by a NSW Supreme Court judge on Monday, while facing three charges over the alleged armed robbery in Orange, central western NSW.
