Accused of theft by ex-MLA from Uttarakhand, help jumps to death from Delhi building

HARIDWAR: Ankit Kumar, 25, a resident of Nagina in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, accused of stealing some precious items by former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, at whose house he used to work as a domestic help, jumped off the roof of a five-storey building in Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar while in police custody, "possibly to escape from cops".

He died during treatment hours later on Thursday evening.
