Newcastle United new boy Sandro Tonali has been handed a classy message from AC Milan after his transfer to the Magpies. The boyhood Milan supporter made a tough choice to leave the San Siro but left with the good wishes of his former employers.
A Milan message via Twitter to the 23-year-old read: "It's been a great ride. "All the best, Sandro It was a beautiful journey together. Your Rossoneri family wishes you the best!"
Milan then released a statement confirming the deal which said: "AC Milan announces the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United. The Club thanks the midfielder for the three splendid years together and wishes him the very best in his professional and personal future."

Eddie Howe said after Tonali's arrival: "I'm delighted to welcome Sandro to Newcastle United. He is an exceptional talent and has the mentality, physicality and technical attributes to be a great fit for us.
