Oleksandr Zinchenko has endured an exceptionally difficult season at Manchester City but, in the end, his dedication and strength of character paid off.
After playing precious few minutes in the first few months of the campaign, the Ukraine international's world was turned upside down when Russia invaded his homeland. Somehow he found the strength to continue playing and ended up playing a crucial role in City's dramatic final day win against Aston Villa that secured the Premier League title.
The 25-year-old has been an unsung hero ever since he became a fixture in Pep Guardiola's squad in 2017. But that doesn't mean City fans don't share a close bond with the left-back.

It's surprising that no top-level side has ever shown interest in signing Zinchenko from City. However, according to the latest reports, Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are hoping to do just that this summer.
It would be an understatement to say that Blues don't want their Ukrainian hero to leave, although some can see why the prospect of a move could appeal to him.
@ftblyousef_: We gotta keep him.
@cityphil73: To be fair, he loves being at City. A couple of years or so ago, he was told we had accepted a bid for him but he begged to stay at City. I'd be gutted to see him leave as he appears to be a top bloke and he has a great attitude.
@CrustyFlacko: He loves this club absolutely no way he leaves unless we make him.
@Jacob4rmstrong: He deserves to go somewhere and get regular starts
@Mibnlawal: Seriously it will be a nice move for Oleks. He would walk straight into Arsenal 11 and play every week. Buh as a man city fan, it's capital NO. He's not for sale
