Police have launched a probe after a sick banner was unfurled during Rangers' win over Aberdeen yesterday. The vile 'Kill All H**s' message appeared in the away section of Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
The Gers ran out 4-1 winners on the day but the game was marred by the banner being unveiled at Ibrox. A picture of the vile message was snapped from above the travelling Dons fans in the corner of the stadium.
A police have now confirmed they have launched an investigation into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were made aware of a report of a banner held up at a Rangers and Aberdeen football match around 4.15pm on Saturday, 29 October, 2022. Enquiries are ongoing.”
The Daily Record has approached Rangers and Aberdeen for comment.
The Dons took the lead at Ibrox through Connor Barron, but the hosts turned the game on its head before half-time thanks to Antonio Colak’s equaliser before John Lundstram made it 2-1 in first half stoppage time.
Captain James Tavernier headed them 3-1 up before missing a penalty. And Alfredo Morelos, who had earlier been denied a goal by VAR, completed the 4-1 win.
