Former Glentoran youngster Brendan Hamilton has completed his move to Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen. The 16-year-old defender joined up with his new teammates this week as they returned to training at Cormack Park.
The talented teen came through the Glens' Academy and was also a member of Northern Ireland's successful Victory Shield side from last season.
Hamilton had been on Aberdeen's radar for quite some time, and impressed for the Dons during a pre-season trip to Portugal last summer. The left-back enjoyed an impressive trial with the travelling Dons squad, prompting Under 18 coach Barry Robson to make his move.
