Broadcasters are backing Aberdeen and Rangers to provide a TV smash hit as they take top billing over a mammoth English Premier League clash.
The showdown between the great rivals in the Granite City is set for 4.30pm with Newcastle vs Tottenham in the race to reach the Champions League acting as the undercard with a 2.00pm kick-off. And it's been announced Nick Walsh will be the man in the middle as Barry Robson's side eye a seventh consecutive Premiership clash against Michael Beale's side. And a potential result for the Dons will have a ripple effect in Celtic's pursuit of a second consecutive title with games to spare.
Whistler Walsh will be backed up by Alan Muir on VAR for a contest which will go up against Manchester City's FA Cup semi final with Brighton. The clash between Aberdeen and Rangers will be beamed on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football with all eyes turning north. The Dons currently hold a five-point lead over Hearts in the race for third.
