Abandoned West Lothian club house hits the market with derelict bar and dance floor

If you've ever fancied running your own club house, then this new offer might be the one for you.

An abandoned West Lothian venue has hit the market, with the new owners able to get the entire property for a serious steal.

Located in Fauldhouse, the former Victoria Cricket Club is a bit of a drive from Edinburgh city centre, but is on the market for offers over £220,000.

Formerly the "heart of the community", the club had offered a social point for many in the area, as well as a venue to support the cricket team.

Now, the venue is in need of some serious TLC, with the vacant and derelict site left to gather dust in recent years.

The main dance floor and stage once used for functions and events are still sporting some rather dated decor, with the bar appearing to be crumbling.

However, the huge space is begging to be transformed, with incredible views over the green, as well as another function area, an outdoor space and car parking facilities.

Put on the market by McEwan Fraser, the estate agents said: "The detached two-story building was once home to Fauldhouse Victoria Cricket Club and offered the team and supporters cold and hot drinks, bar snacks/meals and private function halls for parties, funerals, fundraisers and many other types of functions.

"The team changing facilities and shower rooms were also located in the club. The property is now vacant and offers a fantastic development opportunity.
