Fresh plans have been submitted to bulldoze an old Edinburgh pub to make way for new flats.
Smithies Ale House, on Eyre Place, in Canonmills was previously the focus of similar applications to demolish the building and replace it with a block of flats in 2019 and 2022 - but plans never went through as the developers withdrew both times.
Now developers have submitted fresh plans to build 11 flats and the clearance of land beside the former pub for new garden grounds and associated works.
