It's a fairy tale story for seven frightened little dogs who were saved from being trapped in cages.
Moana, Tinkerbell, Ariel, Arthur, Belle, Tarzan and Jasmine - all named after the Disney princesses - were discovered by a member of the public dumped by a pond in Southampton.
Five of the poor pups were stuffed inside two cat carriers, while the other pair were confined to small wire crate, without any access to food or water.
The helpless dogs were taken into Blue Cross, and after nearly a month of tender loving care, all seven pooches have found happy ever afters in wonderful homes.

Animal Welfare Assistant, Caroline Oram, said: "When Moana and Tinkerbell first arrived in our care, it was clear that they had been through so much.
"They were so scared that they were trembling. We’d go to their kennel, and they’d huddle at the back and bark.
“We had no idea what kind of life they had before to understand their needs."
Moana, a Yorkshire terrier and dachshund cross, was suffering with some hair loss, likely related to stress.
She was particularly frightened and relied heavily on Tinkerbell for support.
"We wanted to get them into foster care as soon as possible, as they had been through so much," Caroline said.
The pint-sized pair went to foster carer Christine Tilt, near Blue Cross Bromsgrove, and after just two weeks, they had already made a remarkable turnaround.
Speaking at Christine’s home on a visit, Caroline said: “The difference in them is amazing.
"Their coats are better, Moana’s fur is growing back and she’s more confident now in meeting people. They’re thriving now.”
Tarzan and Jasmine were also placed into foster care in Southampton, and Ariel was fostered in Oxfordshire.
Arthur and Belle, the most nervous of the group, stayed at the centre so that Blue Cross specialist behaviourists could help them overcome some of their fears.
And finally, Arthur and Belle were then rehomed in Oxfordshire.
After nearly a month in Blue Cross care, the hardworking team can finally say 'The End' as all seven dogs have found their happy endings.
