A car spotted burnt out and abandoned on the side of the road could be linked to a stabbing.
An 18-year-old man was stabbed in the leg with a "machete" outside Wirral Met College's Conway Park Campus, on Wednesday, September 21. The teen was attacked at 3.40pm and suffered a stab wound to the leg.
Merseyside Police reported four men opened the door of a car the victim was sitting in before stabbing him. The gang then made off in a dark coloured Ford Focus towards Conway Park.

Just hours later, a dark coloured Ford Focus was found on fire on Windermere Road, in Birkenhead. A spokesperson for the force confirmed they are looking at the abandoned car as a "line of enquiry linked to the incident on Europa Boulevard."
After the stabbing, Detective Inspector Ruth Tickle said: "Enquiries are in the very early stages to establish what has taken place. I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Europa Boulevard by the college and at around 3.30pm onwards this afternoon and seen or heard anything to come forward and speak to us.
"I would appeal for residents in the area to check your CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage to see if it has captured any footage as it may help with the investigation."
