DIBRUGARH: A former leader of the All Assam Students' Union (Aasu) Biju Gogoi, who joined Ulfa (Independent) during the 2020 Citizenship Amendment Act protests, was found dead with bullet injuries at an Ulfa (I) camp in Myanmar in February, claimed a cadre of the miltant outfit who was arrested by a joint team of Tinsukia police and Assam Rifles on Tuesday evening.
The 24-year-old Ulfa (I) cadre, identified as Santosh Lama alias Apu Asom, 24, was arrested near Biri Basti under Jagun police outpost in Tinsukia district.
