Aaron Ramsey says he plans to work his way back to full fitness with Rangers ahead of Wales' World Cup play-off campaign.
The 31-year-old made his debut for the Scottish giants as a late substitute in a 5-0 win over Hearts on Sunday afternoon.
And Ramsey has revealed his side's congested schedule will help him in his quest to be in peak condition for Wales' semi-final contest with Austria on March 24.
"It was the plan to get some minutes in the legs today, 15 or 20 minutes," he explained.
"I haven't played a lot of football since November, so it was good to get back out there on the pitch.
"Over the next week or so, there's so many games coming up, so there's a lot of opportunities to get some minutes in and progress over the coming weeks.
"They're [play-offs] huge games for us, for Wales, but they are in March. We're in February now.
"I'm fully focused on getting back to full fitness and helping my team-mates as much as I can over the coming weeks.
"There's a lot of football to be played. We're playing in different cup competitions over the next few weeks which are really important so we need to be fully focused on that. I'll give my all."

Ramsey started Rangers' thumping win over Hearts on the bench but regularly warmed up on the Ibrox touchline during the second half.
The Wales star was eventually given the nod to made his bow for the defending league champions in the 76th minute of the contest in Glasgow.
And Ramsey - who was seen smiling on the sidelines ahead of what was his first appearance at any level since Wales' 5-1 win over Belarus in mid-November - says he was unable to hide his delight after finally being able to return to the field.
"I'm always excited to get on the pitch. I was itching to get on," he explained.
"I kept looking over [at manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst] because the warm-up was going on a bit. Eventually we got the nod to get on.
"I'm happy to make my debut and it's good to get some minutes in the legs to really kick on and progress in the next few weeks."
