Aaron Ramsey is insisting that he will wait until this season is over before deciding on a potential return to Ibrox next year.
The Rangers star has struggled with his fitness since joining the Glasgow club on loan from Juventus back in January.
The midfielder has been plagued with injury during the last few seasons, meaning his match appearances have been a little inconsistent.
But the Welsh international has certainly show his abilities in a Rangers jersey in recent weeks with two goals under his belt - including one against Celtic.
Fans are hopeful that Ramsey will return to Ibrox next season but loanee still has a year left on his contract at Italian side Juventus.
It means in order for the Welshman to make a return for the 2022/23 campaign, a deal will need to be struck - whether it be a contract termination or another spell on loan.
One problem Rangers could face is Ramsey's wage bill with the midfielder raking in around 400,000 a week under his current contract with Juve.
Ramsey admits that he made the move to Glasgow to win trophies and to find some consistency - something that could help Rangers convince the star to return.
However, he has warned fans not to expect any decisions in the coming weeks as he is likely to take some time in the summer to review his situation.
He said: “Now is not the time to go into too much detail.
“I still have a year left on my deal at Juventus so we’ll have to reassess the situation in the summer and see what they’re thinking.
“We’ll go from there. That’s something to be discussed at the end of the season.
“I’m feeling good. The thing I’ve been lacking over the last few years is consistency. I can still produce the numbers required and I have no issues with that it’s just getting consistency and into a bit of a rhythm.
“I’ve felt better and stronger and the games are coming thick and fast and hopefully I can play and show what I can do.
“I came here to win and to have the opportunity to play and show what I’m capable of doing.
“The main thing was we’re in three competitions and we want to be successful in all of them.”
