Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey and striker Kemar Roofe won't play in the first leg against Leipzig or the potential title decider against Celtic.
The 31-year-old Welshman was left gutted as he hobbled off during the first half of Sunday's Scottish Cup win over Celtic at Hampden on Sunday.
And now Roofe has joined him on the sidelines with a knee injury that will see the duo miss the club's next three games.
But there is hope both can return for the vital return leg against the Germans on May 5.
Ramsey has struggled with fitness issues since arriving in a blockbuster loan deal from Juventus on deadline day.
And now Roofe has added to the woe for manager Gio van Bronckhorst ahead of a blockbuster run of fixtures.
The Ibrox boss said: "Ramsey we will hopefully have him back around the Leipzig home game. We also had a problem with Roofe after the game with his knee, for him it is the same out for some weeks and hopefully returns around the Leipzig home match."
Rangers haven't had their injury problems to seek in recent weeks with both Alfredo Morelos and Filip Helander sidelined for the rest of the season.
The Premiership champions face Motherwell on Saturday before a mammoth triple header as a trip to league leaders against Celtic is sandwiched between their Europa League semi finals with Leipzig on April 28 and May 5.
