Arsenal have enjoyed a historic first half of their 2022/23 Premier League campaign.
Mikel Arteta's men currently sit on top of the table having won 16 of their opening 19 league outings, clinching 50 points from an available 57. That stellar run of form sees them five points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have also played one more league match this term.
One huge reason for the Gunners' dominance is the standout performances of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who joined from Sheffield United back in the summer of 2021. Ramsdale has kept nine league clean sheets already this term, consistently showcasing his excellent shot-stopping combined with an ability to distribute to his teammates at an elite level.

Ahead of Saturday's clash against Everton, the England international has been speaking about Arteta's squad and he revealed that there is one unexpected player that holds the dressing room together, in the form of defender Rob Holding. "The glue which holds everything together," the former Bournemouth shot-stopper told ESPN when asked to describe Holding.
Ramsdale's comments will surprise some when you consider that Holding is far from a regular in the team. In fact, the 27-year-old hasn't started a single league match this season, with Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba starting all 19 league matches so far this term.
