Aaron Judge was on fire Monday night during the Yankees game vs. the Mariners.
The reigning American League MVP hit two home runs, one in the third inning and the other in the sixth. The three runs he drove in helped lead the Yankees to the 10–4 win.
Surprisingly, hitting two home runs weren’t even the main highlights of Judge’s night, some fans thought.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Teoscar Hernandez hit a long ball out to right field in what looked like it would be a home run that would’ve helped keep the Mariners alive.
But that didn’t happen with Judge in right field. The 6’ 7” star reached up and grabbed Hernandez’s ball nearly out of the stands, retiring the Mariners right fielder and ending the inning.
The crowd at T-Mobile Park was shocked at Judge’s incredible play.
