Aaron Carter's fiancée Melanie Martin put on a brave display as she held their son Prince's first birthday party, weeks after the popstar's death.
The singer was tragically found dead in the bathtub of his Californian home on November 5 earlier this month, he was just 34-years-old.
He shared baby Prince with Melanie and his friends and family paid tribute to the I Want Candy hitmaker at the youngster's birthday bash on Tuesday.
The heartbroken family gathered at Chuck E. Cheese in Costa Mesa, California for the party, which was decked out with balloons and a picture tribute to Aaron.
Pictures obtained by MailOnline show doting mother Melanie hold baby Prince who looked like he enjoyed his party amongst family and friends.
At one point the youngster was introduced to Chuck E. Cheese himself and was even seen enjoying some of the rides and attractions.
Friends carrying Happy Birthday balloons were pictured heading out of the venue as the group piled into cars – Melanie was snapped carrying Aaron's picture collage tribute.
Pictures shared on Melanie's Instagram story show Prince's cake, topped with a heart-warming photograph of Aaron holding his son.
"Have to be strong for our son," she penned on her Story as they seemed to release the birthday balloons into the sky in tribute to Aaron.
In another post, Melanie said: "Happy birthday to my baby boy Prince Lyric Carter... Today is going to be a tough one for me but I know your daddy is playing birthday songs for you up in heaven I love you baby boy!!!"
The party comes after it was reported Aaron's beloved dog Zelda had been taken in by Melanie's relatives.
Her sister, Jennifer Martin, and her fiancé Max are said to have taken the adorable pup in one day after Aaron was found dead.
The couple said it "felt right to take Zelda in" because Melanie was "going through a lot" after the former child star died, according to TMZ.
"[Zelda] seemed to be in shock when she was found, acting nervous and scared," the couple told the publication. They added that she was doing "a lot better" now.
Aaron was launched into the spotlight after he opened for his brother's band during their 1997 tour.
He also supported Britney Spears when he was younger, and he got his first record deal when he was just nine. He later released his self-titled album Aaron Carter, which reached gold status.
He went on to release Aaron's Party (Come and Get It) in 2000 and that went triple platinum.
