CHANDIGARH: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday appointed five new state secretaries, six joint secretaries, two Lok Sabha incharges and state-level functionaries of various wings.
The appointments were made by AAP Punjab president Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha member Sandeep Pathak and party incharge of Punjab affairs Jarnail Singh.
Talwandi Sabo two-time AAP MLA Baljinder Kaur, who was not included in recent cabinet expansion, is again chief of the women’s wing. She has been at the position in the past as well.
Gurdev Singh Lakhna, Dr Sunny Ahluwalia, Shaminder Khinda, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara and Amandeep Singh Mohie have been appointed as state secretaries.
AAP leaders and party spokesperson Neel Garg, Mohanlal, Harcharan Singh Sandhu, Principal Prem Kumar, Kartar Pehelwan and Gurpal Singh have been appointed as the state joint secretaries.
Also, party's chief spokesperson Malwinder Kang has been made incharge of Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency. tnn
