UPDATE: The A9 has fully reopened following a “multi-vehicle” collision
THE A9 was closed in both directions for more than 10 hours at Ballinluig due to a “multi-vehicle” collision.
Traffic Scotland first announced the road was shut shortly after 8.30am on Tuesday morning. The National has approached Police Scotland for further comment.
Traffic Scotland said: "A9 - Ballinluig. Road remains CLOSED in BOTH DIRECTIONS due to a multi-vehicle collision.
"Road users are advised to follow the diversion route below or use alternative routes".
However, shortly after 6.30pm on Tuesday, Traffic Scotland confirmed the road has since "fully reopened".
