Part of the A1(M) will remain partially closed this evening and into Friday morning after an collision involving a lorry striking a bridge just outside Durham.
Junction 60 Northbound at Bradbury will remain shut as emergency repairs are made to the safety barrier which was damaged in the incident.
The lorry driver was taken to hospital with chest injuries after the one-vehicle crash that took place shortly before 7am on Thursday morning.
