A way-too-early look at 10 WNBA players who could make the All-Star team, including Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese

WNBA All-Star Weekend is quickly approaching, and that means we’re one step closer to knowing who will be on the court during the league’s All-Star game.

It’s been a whirlwind few days as the Team USA basketball roster was announced over the weekend. Fans immediately went into a frenzy when Caitlin Clark was left off the roster. Though there’s a slim possibility we could still see Clark on Team USA, it’s more likely that we’ll see her on the WNBA All-Star team dropping buckets against the very team she’ll likely be on in 2028.

This got us thinking: Who are the nine players who might join Caitlin on July 20 in Phoenix?

Here’s our early guess on the 10 players who potentially be on the WNBA All-Star team:

  • Four Guards:
    Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever
    Rhyne Howard, Atlanta Dream
    Arike Ogunbowale, Dallas Wings
    Skylar-Diggins Smith, Seattle Storm
  • Six Front Court Players:
    Angel Reese, Chicago Sky
    Nneka Ogwumike, Seattle Storm
    Jonquel Jones, New York Liberty
    DeWanna Bonner, Connecticut Sun
    Dearica Hamby, Los Angeles Sparks
    Cameron Brink, Los Angeles Sparks

WNBA All-Star voting begins Thursday, June 13, at 2 p.m. ET and concludes Saturday, June 29, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans, players and media members will all have opportunities to contribute to the voting.
