She joked that the diagnosis was “a very dramatic way to get a boob job,” explaining that she plans to have surgery after her next performance at Capital’s Summertime Ball. Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said she had been going through multiple tests over the past few months before receiving the diagnosis. She made sure to stress the word “early” in her announcement, saying that while cancer is hard no matter what stage it’s in, catching it early gives her a better chance at recovery.
