A wife has paid tribute to her 'much-loved' husband who died following a collision in Esh Winning.
The collision happened on Friday just after 12.30pm at Priestburn Close. A motorcycle had collided with a Vauxhall Crossland.
The motorcyclist, 31-year-old Aaron Morris, suffered critical injuries and was taken to University Hospital of North Durham.
Sadly, Aaron died from his injuries several hours later.
In a tribute released today, his wife Samantha said: “Aaron was a true family man and treasured by all those who knew and loved him.
“He was a much-loved husband, son, father and brother, and will be sadly missed by us all.
“We wish to thank everyone for their support, and ask now to be left in peace so that we can grieve together.”
Collison investigators would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or whomay have any dashcam footage relating to the collision.
