Former West Ham United striker Teddy Sheringham believes the Hammers should stick with manager David Moyes.
The Hammers’ boss has been under a lot of pressure in recent weeks with West Ham only moving out of the relegation zone on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Everton at the London Stadium taking them up to 16th.
Domestically, it has been a very poor season for the Hammers, having finished sixth and seventh in the last two seasons, as well as spending around £160million in transfer fees in the summer, as well as a further £12m this month.

In West Ham’s first 20 league games, they have only won five, drawn three and lost the remaining 12, leading to some fans wanting a change.
However, ex-Hammers and England striker Sheringham, who scored 30 goals in 87 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers between 2004 and 2007, disagrees with that view.
Sheringham thinks that West Ham did not invest enough in their squad to make them compete in the Premier League and in the Europa Conference League this term, but believes that West Ham are right to stick with Moyes in charge.
“It’s a big season for them this season,” Sheringham told talkSPORT . “Whenever a club gets into Europe because they did so well last season, having a great run, getting into Europe, it brings on more expectation.
“At the same time, you have to have a bigger squad and I don’t think West Ham have added to their squad to incorporate all of the games they are playing this year. They’ve done fantastic in their European games but when you are travelling away on Thursdays and getting back, then you have to be prepared for the weekend games and they’re not quite as big games and getting excited about playing in Europe again and the demands. You get way-layed onto the wrong things.
“Your bread and butter is the Premier League and they haven’t really done that this year. They’ve played a lot of games, had a lot of good results, but the ones that keep you in the Premier League, they haven’t done.
“With that in mind, I’ve got to say you’ve got to keep hold of David Moyes, he’s done a fantastic job since he’s been at West Ham.
“It’s just that you’re going through a tough period at the moment but he’s had good success there, so stick with him and times will change again and like he has said, he knows the board have stuck by him and rightly so for what he’s done for West Ham.”
