This is a play you don’t see every day, but it was a comedy of errors all around.
In the first quarter of Monday night’s Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers contest on Christmas, Lamar Jackson stepped back early in the first quarter on a first-and-10 in his own territory … and the Niners’ D chased him back into his own end zone.
The official — umpire Alex Moore — who was back there with him was jogging backwards when he his feet got caught under him and down he went, tripping up Jackson in the process for a safety when the QB committed intentional grounding.
The whole thing was wild as heck, but adding insult to injury, ESPN cameras caught his expression as he was going down:
A huge two points for anyone who started that referee in their fantasy semi-final game. pic.twitter.com/01z3WXhUg3

If that isn’t a meme by Tuesday, I’ll be shocked.
