Puppy Yoga classes are being held in Leeds this weekend as a way to relax and de-stress yourself.
This Saturday (July 9), Puppy Yoga Leeds, will be holding a class in the city for 45 minutes of yoga and 35 minutes of play with the puppies. The session will feature a “gorgeous” litter of Chihuahuas.
According to the event’s website, the puppies will not be part of the yoga but will be free to roam around while it takes place. This will help with their socialisation as puppies and development.

The group said: “Puppy yoga provides the perfect atmosphere to help you relax and de-stress with your friends and some adorable furry friends. This session will feature a gorgeous litter of chihuahuas.
“The session will include 45 minutes of yoga and 35 minutes of pure puppy playtime where everyone will get the opportunity for some one-to-one puppy time. The puppies will not be directly involved in any yoga positions but will be free to move, play, and cuddle during the yoga class as part of their socialisation and development.”
There will be time for photos with the puppies and everyone will get a polaroid to take home with them. You can also take your own photos.
Limited tickets are still available and can be bought through Skiddle. The venue location will be emailed to anyone with tickets but it is within 10 minutes of Leeds City Centre.
The group does warn the dogs are puppies of around 6-12 weeks and are therefore delicate. They are also teething and, although there will be toys available, they may occasionally nip.
You should also not attend if you have any dog allergies.
