A Place In The Sun viewers were confused by a buyer's claim he was ginger despite having dark brown hair.
Ben Hillman jetted off to Tenerife to help former RAF serviceman Del and his wife Diane find a holiday home to spend the winter months in. The couple had their sights set on a family-sized property with a pool for their £120,000 budget.
The couple took a liking to the majority of the properties but an unusual claim from Del didn't go unnoticed by both Ben and the viewers. After being shown a home that included a balcony in the shade, Del said he loved the fact the sun wouldn't be touching him.

Ben was taken back by his preference and asked why he wouldn't want to soak up the sun and get himself a tan. Del explained it was because he is "part ginger", visibly confusing the property expert who scrunched his face. After a moment of brief hesitation, Ben said: "You're ginger? You don't look ginger, or maybe my eyes are going."
The buyer reconfirmed he was indeed ginger but his claims have left viewers in a state of confusion as they couldn't see it. One viewer said: "Part Ginger. How does that work?"
Another added: "He’s part ginger? Eh!!"
A third viewer said: "Did he just say he's ginger"
Del then admitted he doesn't "really get much of a tan" and prefers to stay away from the sun, further confusing Ben as to why he was picking a home in Tenerife. Despite his odd preferences and claims, the couple managed to find their perfect home - with a shaded area included - in San Juan de la Rambla.
