A Place in the Sun's Jean Johansson's 'work cut out' as she bluntly shuts down buyer

A Place in the Sun's Jean Johansson bluntly shut down a buyer's request on today's show.

The property expert returned to front Monday's edition of the popular Channel 4 programme. She was helping Clement and Tracy-Anne find their dream home in Marbella in the latest episode.

The couple were armed with a maximum budget of £275,000 and were looking for a modern three-bedroom home for the family. The criteria sparked slight concern from Jean as she warned they warned they might need to be flexible to secure a home in a notoriously expensive region.

The host took the buyers into the mountains for the first home on the search, which was a three-bed apartment in Altos de Elvira. The buyers were unimpressed with the long drive from Marbella and also said the master bedroom was too small.

This prompted Jean to step in as she warned: "I need to tell you guys. For your budget. There ain't going to be a big massive bedroom. You want three of them? They're just not going to be big."

Jean was concerned the hunt could be a struggle as she later said: "I might have my work cut out for me house hunting in the millionaire's playground that is Marbella."

However, she fortunately found a home the buyers loved as they decided to put a bid in for property three. The three bed apartment was valued at £252,1367 and they secured it for £246,000.
