Jean Johansson has paid a touching tribute to her dad after he died following an illness.
The A Place in the Sun star was devastated over the death of her beloved dad as she recalled his final moments. Writing for her Sunday Mail column, the 42-year-old property expert penned a thoughtful tribute to her dad, John Anderson.
The TV star revealed he had sadly died earlier in the month and she added she was unsure whether to write about his death or not. But she decided to go ahead with it to "honour the extraordinary life" he lived and express her thanks to those who helped care for him.

She wrote: "My dad died earlier this month. I wasn't sure whether to write about it but I decided I had to - for two reasons.
"To honour the extraordinary life my dad lived and to express my heartfelt thanks to those who cared for him in his final days. Many times I've read the phrase 'they died surrounded by family' and my dad truly was."
Jean shared how her dad had been "bombarded with love" at the end of his life. He passed surrounded by his nearest and dearest as she explained how she and her siblings took it in turns to hold his hand as he "slipped away".
The presenter praised the staff at Inverclyde Royal Hospital who offered her father the "highest level of care and respect" during his final weeks. She said: "They comforted us at our most vulnerable and terrifying time.
"I will never forget their kindness and understanding. And then the brilliant carers when he got home who visited him and gave him daily encouragement and helped raise a smile."
The Channel 4 star added: "He passed on February 9 after a back fracture led to numerous infections, the last of which he wasn't strong enough to fight."
